YOUTH CONVENTION TESTIMONIES

1.     6-Year Asthma Destroyed!

“I was born in 1994 with Asthma. As Bishop Oyedepo ministered during the Youth Convention, he instructed us to pray that God will ignite a new fire in us and we would have an encounter with Him.

Before I went home that night, I prayed in faith. While on my bed at home, the Lord spoke to me that my asthma is gone and I discovered that the chest pain I suffered from, had ceased. Now, I powerfully whole. I give God the glory!”

2.     Academic Stagnation Terminated!

“I graduated from secondary school in 2005 and since then, I sought for admission to no avail. I have always attended various youth camp meetings but I was never focused to encounter my word.

In 2009, I decided to attend the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI) and the International Youth Convention. I attended the Convention in August of that year and told God that I would be focused and serve Him like never before.

I remember that we had the One Night with the King during the Convention of that year and the Bishop said that we should just dance like we had never done before. I did and God said to me that for the dance, my admission was sure. 

On August 31, I went to the school that I applied to and to the glory of God, I checked the list and realized that my name was there.  I give God all of the glory!” ---Titilope Temitope

3.     6-Year Waist Pain & Dysentery Destroyed!

“During the Youth Convention tagged, The Emergence of World Changers, I had waist pain and dysentery that had lingered for six years. I tried several medical solutions, but all proved abortive.

However, on my way to that youth programme, God instructed me to serve in the toilet unit. So, I joined the Sanctuary Keepers’ unit and worked in the toilet section. There, a testimony was shared of someone who had stomach pain for six years. However, as he worked in the toilet unit and prayed, God healed him. Immediately, I poured my heart to God and told Him that I came to seek Him and not make friends. I also told Him that being my first time at the Convention, I must testify because I had heard people talk about the impact of the programme in their lives.

On the third day of the programme, while one of the pastors was ministering and we were praying, the Holy Spirit suddenly came upon me and the stomach pain became intense. After the prayers, I went to the convenience and passed out blood. Thereafter, I used tissue paper to touch the blood, raised it to God and said, ‘Let the power that could not stop the completion of Faith Tabernacle heal me.’

As I came out of the toilet, I thought to myself, ‘What is this power behind the completion of Faith Tabernacle?’ Suddenly I realised that the waist pain and dysentery had disappeared. I give God all the glory!”---Tyson John

4.     Supernatural Breakthrough!

“During the 2014 Youth Alive Convention, I shared a testimony on how God increased me the previous year. Thereafter, Bishop Oyedepo came to the pulpit and said, ‘The journey into greatness for that my son has just begun.’

Miraculously, in January 2015, God double the capital I used to run my business in the year 2014. Also, I was offered a land for sale with the condition that I lay a foundation there, which I agreed.

In 2015, my father called and said that the land was waterlogged and suggested that I sell it off because laying a foundation there would be very expensive.  Immediately, I said, ‘Daddy, you said the place is swampy; the person that will buy it, how many heads does he have?’ My father said, ‘One.’ So, I said, ‘Thank you very much; don’ talk about this issue anymore.’

To the glory of God, in March 2015, I started the project and within seven months, the building was completed and furnished. I give God all the glory!” ---Raymond Emmanuel
